I wanted to starts series of blog posts ” Three Pillars of Well Being: Health, Wealth and Self Growth.” One of major pillars of our well being is our health. Wealth cannot be achieved without health. Little did I know that drinking kangen water is better for my health than the most expensive spring water or vitamin water bought in health food store. I never been a crazy water drinker. I actually hated it and I had to drink water being on diet and just knowing I had to drink water for better physical performance. Actually my husband introduced me to the water more when I met him in US. Growing up in Russia I never drank much water because it was not that clean and we only used filtered bought water for tea and coffee so it was luxury item in our menu.

What is Kangen water? Why is such a buzz about it? Let me give you some insider information about kangen water.

The word “KANGEN” scientically means reducing or deoxidizing. It also means back to origin, “renewal” and that is what it does, restoring your body back to balanced state.

I have been reading a lot about Kangen water and its benefits and here is some interesting information I have discovered. In 1998 Dr. Shirahata of Kyushu University in Japan discovered the huge connection between so called “Miracle Water” and electrolysed water. “Miracle Water” was found in nature only in 5 countries which were Japan, India, Australia, Mexico and Germany and it was known as healing water for many generations. Some people claimed it was a healing water but it still remains a mystery.

What was common by definition of Dr. Shirahata, the fact that both types of water had amazing antioxidant capabilities.

So What is So Special about This Water?

All research on kangen water was done in Japan and it led to realization of the ideal water for drinking. They adopted a name “kangen” that is used to desribe healthy, clean, alkaline water that has no impurities and ionized. It allows your body to absorb all nutrients much faster.

Why drinking water is very important?
People are dehydrated. Did you know that over 70% of americans are dehydrated? It is scary. People eat more than drink water. American culture is very food oriented and people drink soda, juices, milk when t hey are thirsty. Wrong move.

What water is important? Until I went on the detox diet and started drinking a lot of water and eliminating all sodas, even diet sodas, regular coffee and tea, I did not realize how much my body needed water. I was dehydrated and miserable. Tired and sleepy. I was drinking a pot of coffee a day! Yes a day to be awake and to chase after my kids and run my business, until one day i decided to change my health. Bad habits can become a part of your life so the good habits can be a part of your life as well.

I started drinking water. I thought I am going to get sick from drinking too much water but my body was craving for more. I did not get tired as much, my skin got better and my weight loss had increased.

Interesting fact that one glass of water can stop night hunger for all the dieters, according to university of Washington study.

The medical research is powerful and it shows that 5-6 glasses of water a day decreases the risk of colon cancer by 44% plus reduce the breast cancer risk by 80%. That is powerful guys. It is water. that is all.

For the body to function in harmony it must be hydrated well. The qualities of water determine our health quality. Water changes body temperature and helps all organs to function normally, especially digestive tract. By doing that, it removes all toxins from body.

70-80% in our body is water:

1. our body is made up of 60-75% of water

2. The brain is made up of 85% of water.

3. Our blood is about 91% water

4. Our brain is about 80% water

I was not drinking water, I never was thirsty much but when I forced myself basicly to drink water I was getting more thirsty. We must drink water every hour to prevent dehydration. If we are too thirsty then we really get dehydrated and it reflects on our skin, sleep paterns and mood. I experienced all the skin problems, sleep problems and even mood swings, so from my personal experience drinking water became the powerful element in the healthy diet.

We must listen to our bodies and watch our body and it will tell us when you need water. Kangen water for example is very hydrating water due to the fact it has smallest clusters of water molecules and they get into the system faster than any other drinks out there.

I have purchased Kangen Water Device through direct sales company Enagic. I went to a health fair and saw with my own eyes how it works. I was able to bring water home.
