I was listening to an amazing PR and Viral Marketing strategist David Scott the other night on the webinar with PRWeb, PR services company, and I wanted to share this lesson with you so you can understand how to attract buyers directly. David M. Scott is an award winning marketing strategist, best selling author, speaker and seminar leader. His famous book “The New Rules of Marketing and PR” became bestseller and assisted many people around the world in applying his strategies and I have been reading and applying his techniques that I find amazing!

PR (public relations and social media) is not only about reaching journalists and media but reaching buyers. It is a new way of reaching people…

David brought great topic that fear keeps people from trying new things to reach people.
He mentioned about the dentist who was using yellow pages cost $2000 a month for listing. Well this dentist started blog give free e-book “Healthy Mouth Healthy Sex E-book” . Yes quite a name!
But it was quite impressive and brought a lot of attention and people shared that blog and e-book with others. Then she did press release about it. She got so much attention that again brings a great point. We must give our knowledge and then we can earn attention…
You can achieve similar success as any big name in the online marketing world.. How? You must unlearn what you learned.
Here is what you need to know:

1. Your buyers personas
We used to market to faceless prospects
Example, Hotels.. All websites look the same and they feature facts and their products. People do not want to buy products.
Example if you own a hotel this is what you should do. You must learn about a hotel buyer persona. They could be people who fall into 5 categories.

1. Wedding
2. Vacation
3. Event planner
4. Travel sales manager
5. Business person
Write to them and how you can help them with solutions. Speak their language. Give advice, recommendations.
We must know what your buyer persona is about and what do you want them to believe about your organization?

2. Interesting topic was about ATTENTION:
David said “You can buy attention or beg but you need to earn attention by publishing great content. On the web you are what YOU PUBLISH. Pretty powerful, right?

3. Encourage
Encourage people to share with the push of the button! Again remember, people do not care about your products. They care about their problems and want to find solutions. Very true and we are as humans are selfish we want others to help us to solve problems
4. GIVE UNCONDITIONALLY
Give people free information via blogs without asking to get on the newsletter. Make sure it is rich content or give free e-book even without subscribing to your list, they can download right away. Go to forums, chat rooms and provide advice. Go to where people talk about things, participate, give advice, they will buy from you.

He also mentioned an interesting fact that even US AirForce is usually social media and encourage everyone to start social media profiles so they can communicate with their loved ones especially being overseas… It shows us that we should not fear of social media and pr methods. We need to learn to manage our fear.

Carbon Copy PRO and Jay Kubassek did it again…Annual master marketing event is around the corner..

Time flies. I cannot believe that in less than a month Carbon Copy PRO founders Jay Kubassek and Aaron Parkinson will be hosting a fall Carbon Copy PRO master marketing event and show you how to improve your business with this economy or start a new career in recession times and how to be creative in your marketing endeavors. Success Blueprint: Six Steps To Achieving What Your Heart Desires

In this video lesson today I want to share about six tips to success in your business. What is a real success blueprint? Why do we focus so much on the monetary aspects of reaching success when for some people success is all about achieving small goals one a time.

I will cover six steps to success and I hope it can help you in achieving small or big goals.
Here is my special video message:

1. FOCUS:
Focus on what is important to you. Love what you do and do what you love. Find a true passion that despite the obstacles you can see a bigger picture and have a vision. Make sure you understand business involves taking a risk and focus is going to help you to put attention to small details that count and contribute to bigger results. Focus on a daily activities and make sure you focus on being productive. Focusing on the things that have no value to your work is not going to bring the result you want. Make sure you focus on the activities that create transformation.

2. SKILLS
Everyone has skills but some have got TOO MANY. Take one skill you want to master and focus on it. As you can see it comes down again to the matter of FOCUS I brought to your attention in bullet point # 1..
Make sure you do not try to do TOO MANY THINGS and LEARN TOO MUCH. Take what you know now, take to the next level by getting more education in that field and apply it. See results. That skill will become like driving a car. Then it will be easier for you to learn a new skills and follow same formula. With the arrival of social media everyone wants to be a social media guru, a so called expert.. There is nothing wrong to say “I donot know everything” Honestly who cares. Only YOU.

3. MASTERMIND COMMUNITY OR SUPPORT GROUP:

Be surrounded by people of the same interest. It can be your mentors, your students, your coworkers, or belong to marketing communities that offer that to you. You must have that intellectual interaction to keep your creative juices flowing. I love mastermind and support communities that tie people of one culture and make new friends who immigrated to US and Canada from Russia and discover what they achieved and what they plan to do because it gives a chance to share with them my marketing and mindset training.
It is important for your self esteem too because you feel accepted into a new circle and you can contribute your ideas and get feedback from people who undertstand what you do. Very important factor in business!

4. Learn From The Best

You need to find coaches with good proven track record, sucess stories and case studies that can be a real proof. You also need coaches and mentors who have INTEGRITY. It is another topic I will cover.
I have made commitment to ONLY learn from the best. WHY NOT. Do not settle for less. You need a good mentor if you want to take your business seriously. You want to mold yourself right from day 1 because it will be hard to undo what you did wrong because you have developed habits of doing things the old way. 5. Patience
You need to learn to be patient with yourself.. We often are so patient with other people that we forget that the most important person in creating success is YOU. We must understand that we will have obstacles and trials on this journey but the success would have been so sweet if we did not work for it and we put effort and patience toward ourselves. Remember Rome was not built in one day. It takes time and it can be days or it can be months or even years before you achieve what you truly want. The walls are there for a reason: to give you JOY!

6. Acceptance Vs. Approval
It is the last step but very important and should not be ignored. If you are in a relationship or a marriage, you want to understand one thing that you do not need to get approval from your spouse right way. All you want is acceptance. Accepting your ideas creates good bond, feeling of support from your loved ones and it makes so much easier to focus. Because when you feel you are not approved by your spouse you start looking for new options or a new business venture. It is not the case. As an amazing author Gary Chapman says it is called “Intellectual Intimacy” which is very important for anyone when they build a business. Many of us struggle with it and we all need it.
I think I will make another lesson on this specific step.

Also learn how to be accepted by your customers first then approved..having passion and dedication to your customers or clients will give you that seal of approval you are looking for. Then they become your customers for life and bring you referals. Work on maintaining relationships with your clients… It is the best therapy for your soul and more happy smiles to customer faces

Social Media Delicacy: A Simple Secret To Providing The Best Social Media Content

When it comes to delicacy I love to talk about it. I love great food. I love eating. I love great chocolate, good coffee and good cheese. I love to cook and bake… I think I should have been born in Paris France and have my own gourmet store or a restaurant. I love to invite people to my house and treat them right and bring the best food to them… I love to entertain and make my guests feel special…I love to be a hostess and see smiles on people faces and feeling of happiness.. I love to see the result of my cooking and baking and sometimes simply just entertaining.

I am sure you understand where I am going with that. Social Media Marketing is a like a gourmet food store. There are variety of foods and delicacies and some of us come and just take what we need and go home with it. Social media content is our our delicacy. What we put in front of our viewers is what we get back. Do we really put the best out to our viewers and get the feedback so we know what to do next? Do we really interact with people? Do we satisfy our hungry customers with good food or just something to throw to them just to keep them quite? How do we treat our customers?

First, the content we put out there must be our delicacy. If we focus on giving the free valuable training, tips and just good stuff people want and need that offers change in their life, career, relationships, they will come back for more. They would not care about the price of your product because they know YOU are A REAL DEAL. It is like eating cheap cheese or buying real french brie that costs much more but the experience is divine. The rich social media content brings the feeling of pleasure and personal happiness as the best delicacy. YOU INC becomes that special stop for your audience to get the best and learn from the best.

Secondly, you must have fun with the delicacy. You must enjoy what you serve and what we eat too. You must enjoy being in social media arena and also being able to interact with your customers because they are your main judges but also your best helpers to make your business better. You must learn to listen to them and accept even constructive critisism.

Third, you must learn how to maintain the relationships. Do not just tease people with good stuff once.. Imagine, if you are a hostess and you invite people to your house and you serve a great dinner and nice china and your food is great and hospitality is outstanding. You may do it once or twice and then you get tired and forget about it. You serve out of the paper plates and cheap food for them to eat. You think they will take what comes their way. There is nothing wrong in serving on paper plates but it is about ATTITUDE toward your customers matters. Make sure you are consistent in your efforts. That is the key to successful marketing and getting results you truly want. Then, your viewers and your customers will know that you are planning to stay in business.

Fourth, make sure educate people properly. Provide truthful information without hype.. People will eventually taste it and see if it was a real thing or not, like that expensive cheese I talked to you about. They will know it fast. Once they taste the real stuff you offer they will never go back.. That is how you can stop pitching them your offers by serving what their heart desires and what they truly want. You will be able to to gain credibility and respect in your community and people will be attracted to you because they will love the experience working and learning from you and getting results from your education and service. It is all about attitude. Be authentic. Give the BEST! It will come back to you many times more!

The moment of now-your best secret to success! Why is it so important?

When it comes to creating personal success, people spend their time, thousands of dollars searching for that perfect secret ingredient to creating success. They search for new ideas, better solutions, attend business seminars and even have private coaching lessons… It is all wonderful but… There is one thing that prevents people from moving forward or creating their success they want and deserve.

Let me illustrate better
.. When I started as an entrepreneur over six years ago, I did not have a mentor. I did not know what to do, how to market a business, close and sell. I did not know why people needed personal development. I even considered that a foreign subject.. Huh. It was a complete a new language for me that I was not willing to learn at that time and did not really consider as an important part of my life. I was worried about too many things. I was worried that I did not know much and that I did not experience like so many people, I called them “These People” and meant successful ones. I was worried how I would be doing in two-three years in business and if I would create some success in life. I created too many blocks in my mind called “If and But” … Does it sound familiar…I was worried if what I did would provide the income for my family I needed right that second and I was in a constant mode of worrying. I felt like a driver who pushes his breaks and took turns because he or she did not direction or even a vision. But the problem was much bigger!

The problem was lack of focus on NOW… Every day of our life we worry and think about what we did few minutes ago, last week, last year and even few years ago. Then we are worried about tomorrow, next year and what people think of us tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and we spend the entire day thinking, processing and we feel exhausted and realize we have not accomplished anything. Then we worry that we have not accomplished anything and we worry again about things we just thought.

Here is a simple solution:
1. You must gather your thoughts now.
What is your priority today? Write them down..
You must understand that you must focus on your priorities and not what others want you to do. What do you need to do to achieve your goal, your success in life. It does not mean you ignore other people needs. It is not what I mean.

2. You must take one step at time.
Break down to the little things you need to accomplish and focus on them. We all have big intention and beliefs we can do it but little deeds matter to our success more.

3. Do not dwell on the past
Past is gone. That is why it is called past. Close the chapter of last events. They are experiences or lessons. Take what is good and apply to future. Every negative event can bring the best in you.

4. Do not anticipate on the future events
It can really hurt you emotionally and even create physical ailments.
It can cause stress from worrying and thinking about the things that did not happen.

5. Focus on the moment of NOW.
Look around and focus on the present, this moment, today and do your best. Focus on the things that need to be done now and that is your responsibility. By focusing on the responsibilities of NOW you will less likely to get lazy and slack off.
Every day is a new page of our chapter of life. We must treasure it and nurture our mind with gratitude and believe that tomorrow will be better and even better that today. Enjoy your today!

When it comes to choosing a business, or a new career we often ask ourselves if we can really be successful, if we should choose a business based on our passion that pays little in the beginning but more in the future or should we go with a business that we like ok but gives bigger paycheck today. When we think this way we create the block. It prevents us to live in the moment of NOW. We create future blocks that have not even come true. We worry about the end results knowing that we can control the end results.

My personal advice is to ask yourself what you want to do now to achieve short term goals and where you see yourself in few months or years. Of course we cannot garantee that we would not change our careers or business paths. It can happen for sure. Focus on what brings you joy and what you know will bring value to your clients or customers, and feel that in your heart at that moment and the “how to ideas” to accomplish your life goals wil come to you. The most successful people live in the moment of NOW and take responsible risks as they grow their business.

Today I am still learning.. I am learning to focus and refocus on the moment of NOW and what I need to do NOW. It is a learning process and we always learn and it makes us stronger. The only struggle we deal with is the struggle with ourselves and it is within us. We must learn to accept that past was past and we cannot change it.. We can only change future and create the future we want but focusing on NOW.
